Sneakersnstuff Present the Air Force 1 “Fryken” as a Tribute to Nike Employee

For Fryken’s Sake!

Sneakersnstuff’s new Nike “Fryken” pack, including a wild pair of Air Force 1s, has a very unique backstory.

I’d never heard of this Magnus “Fryken” Frykfeldt before the pack’s announcement. He’s that tall dude in the back. Yeah, doesn’t ring a bell, right? But to SNS, he means the world.

Magnus was actually the first Nike sales representative that the SNS team dealt with in securing their Nike account. And after working many years in Europe, then in Nike HQ, Magnus finds himself celebrating a lazy three-decades under the Swoosh’s employment.

Sneakersnstuff thought this would be the perfect opportunity to immerse itself in the archives of Nike Sweden and imagine a whole capsule tributing their, and Magnus’ infancy period with Nike.

It all started with a simple photo (above) to create this collection, which includes pieces exclusive to Nike Sweden at the time. The collection therefore presents a polo shirt, a hoodie, a teddy but also a t-shirt with the logo of that time. The store has also developed an Air Force 1 whose colour is directly inspired by this photo.

All the clothes are available on the SNS website, the Nike Air Force 1 “Fryken” will unfortunately only remain a single edition 😥
