Update 09.28.19 // The third and final The Basement x Nike Air Max 90 has appeared, with Alex Ropes revealing the Cordura-covered, back-based sneaker. It’s paired with vibrant volt accents, Jewel Swooshes and reflective detailing on the tongue and mudguard. Official release info and inspiration behind each pair has also landed, which you can read more on further below!

Update 09.21.19 // A second The Basement x Nike Air Max 90 has appeared, sans the interchangeable Swooshes, but it does bring with it a completely different build. Fine mesh covers the toe, while the upper arrives in predominately grey suede. Ripstop mudguard overlays textured metallic Swooshes and heel panels, and a luxurious leather tongue all feature, while special traffic cone graphic insoles and translucent outsoles repeat the pack’s theme: Real People Do Real Things. The pair has been added to the image set further below, and by the looks of the style coding, you can expect a third colorway to appear over the coming days — stay tuned for more.

OG Poste 09.20.19 // London-based social group The Basement is back with another Beaverton-issued collaboration. This The Basement x Nike Air Max 90 joins their equally elegant Nike Dunk Low from 2017 in a social post-worthy tonal grey — but the social crew is letting you dictate how to style it, with a quartet of accompanying Velcro Swooshes at your disposal. It does come with a few other unique tweaks, including milky-translucent plastic eyelets, ripstop mesh on the collar and tongue, and toe boxes absent of mesh. Beautiful debossed branding hits on the tongues and heel add considerable charm, while outsoles, insoles, and lace tips send out a message of “Real People Do Real Things”

Look for this The Basement x Nike Air Max 90 collaborative pack to release this October — with a confirmed date to follow — at select Swoosh retailers and for $140.
