Official Looks at Nike’s Motorsport-Inspired Air Force 1
Start your engines!
Nike’s “overbranded” theme dominated the market throughout 2018, and while we all thought it was (thankfully) done with, there seem to be a few stragglers coming through to the start of 2019.
Well kind of.
These new Forces aren’t in the same vain as last year’s “overbranded,” but they do arrive with heavy-handed branding on the lateral heels, a-la racing car sponsorships on a car’s decal and racing suits. The uptown calls up a combo of black and white for the base with vibrant pink Swooshes with light blue trimming. A matching blue midsole stripe carries on the motorsport theme, as does the aforementioned branding.
These aren’t the only Motorsport-themed pair to surface today, with a high-cut Nike Air Max 720 also surfacing in a track-ready trend.
Expect these new Forces to arrive early 2019 — likely for All-Star Weekend, as one of the heel graphics display “ASW-2019”. Stay tuned for more deets!
