The OG Nike Air Trainer “Medicine Ball” to Return
The only time I’ve ever been excited to see a medicine ball.
Originally released in 1988, the Nike Air Trainer 3 “Medicine Ball” took the sneakerworld by storm. If you cant think back 30 years, the colorway was recently seen on the Air Jordan Legacy 312 in August.
But now, Nike will officially be bringing back the retro trainer — hopefully before the sneaker’s 30th anniversary clocks out.
It arrives in all of it’s OG glory: White, Midnight Navy, Ginger, and Light Bone makes up the industry-changing cross-trainer. It’s white leather upper paired with Ginger and Navy Blue overlays is instantly recognizable, while its “Light Bone” TPU lacing system is done in Light Bone really challenged the industry’s perceptions about what materials they could use on a trainer — and then there’s that visible Air unit. but we all know about that.
Watch out for the Nike Air Trainer 3 “Medicine Ball” to release very soon at select Nike Sportswear retailers and Nike.com. Stay tuned for a locked-in release date.
