Kobe’s “Chaos” Colorway Returns on the Nike Kobe AD

Mamba, remastered.

Kobe may have been out of the league for a few years now, but his impact on the game is still greater than ever. His signature sneaker line is following that same path, with his footwear gracing the NBA hardwood in astounding numbers. And while the Nike Kobe AD has a lot to do with that, we still frequently see some vintage Mamba heat on the hardwood.

So it’s no surprise that Nike have looked back to go forward, with this new “Chaos” colorway surfacing on the AD, one that bears similarities to the Nike Kobe 6 release of the same name.

The shoe’s bold black upper paired with grey detailing serves as a base for a handful of colorful accents — the laces are done up in a volt yellow, with purple hits appear on the tongue tabs and colorful embroidery adorns the heel. The speckled grey midsole is countered with vibrant pops of hot crimson, and the sneaker’s large visible Zoom Air bags are wrapped in a semi-translucent outsole.
