WNBA and NBA Deliver a Literal Basketball-Inspired Nike Dunk High EMB

After linking up on an Air Force 1 and Nike Blazer Mid, the National Basketball Association and WNBA look to deliver one more retro model that encapsulated the love for the game, with this new NBA x WNBA x Nike Dunk High for Spring/Summer 2022 arriving in a fitting basketball-leather theme.

Though it shares some consistencies to the Blazer and Air Force 1, like basketball textured leathers, satins, and smooth leathers, it does ditch the vibrant franchise-themed colors in favor of the ball’s heritage orange hues. There’s even black satin on the medial side that mimics the debossed lettering. It joins orange stain collars, tonal leather uppers, and the aforementioned overlays in the grippy texture. Lateral Swooshes also arrive in satin, this time in white to match the tongue tags and midsoles to complete the design.
