With Beaverton’s focus shifting toward the Air Max 90 and Air Max 95 in 2020, we’ve noticed a significant slide in other retro runners of late. One of those that’s seemingly fallen by the wayside is the revered Air Max 98, whose presence on the shelves has been missed. But having recently previewed a handful of new options — and with our collective sights set on Summer — you can expect a lot more from the 98, including this all-new ladies-exclusive “Laser Crimson” release.

Consistent with a few of the latest Air Max 98 reveals, this pair too arrives in a mix of white, grey, and red, differing here by the inclusion of vibrant Aqua-Green pops along the upper embroidery, eyelets, and Air supports. White mesh uppers arrive overlayed with sweeping white nylons, and grey leather mudguards and upper eyelets. Grey appears again underfoot, and the pair is complete with vivid pops of Laser Crimson on the toe overlay, overlay liner, heel pull and outsole.
