Pokémon Celebrates 30 Years With a Special G-SHOCK Collaboration

Pokémon is marking its 30th anniversary with a special G-SHOCK collaboration, bringing one of the world’s most beloved franchises to one of Casio’s most recognizable watch platforms.

The release centers around the G-SHOCK GA-110, which has been reworked with a translucent case and a bright color setup inspired by Pokémon’s original 1996 debut. Red, blue, and green accents appear across the bezel, buttons, dial, and hands, nodding to the series’ earliest games while giving the watch a playful, collectible feel.

The Pokémon details continue across the face of the watch. At 9 o’clock, the inset dial takes inspiration from the Poké Ball, while the indicator hand is shaped like Pikachu from behind. The dial also features subtle Pokémon branding, tying the design back to the anniversary theme without overwhelming the GA-110’s signature layered look.

A major part of the release comes through the band. Thirty Pokémon are included across the design to commemorate 30 years of the franchise, with three first partner Pokémon from each region spanning Kanto through Paldea, joined by Pikachu and Eevee. Mew, the Mythical Pokémon first introduced in 1996, appears on the band loop to bring the total to 30.

The anniversary treatment also extends to the case back, which is engraved with a special Pokémon 30th anniversary logo. Packaging plays into the theme as well, with an outer box covered in the 30-Pokémon motif and a special presentation case shaped like a Poké Ball.

Built as both a watch and a collector’s piece, the Pokémon x G-SHOCK GA-110 celebrates three decades of adventures, characters, and memories for Pokémon fans around the world. Release details are expected to follow soon.
