First Looks at the Chinatown Market x PUMA Ralph Sampson Low with Removable Velcro Overlays

In April we saw PUMA bring back one of the greats — the Ralph Sampson OG in both high and low form. The classically designed 80s signature sneaker for the 7-foot 4-inch Hall of Famer is everything modern day streetwear screams for, and now it’s teamed up with one of the biggest names in the game, Chinatown Market.

After linking on a pop-up during NBA All-Star weekend, PUMA and Chinatown Market have teamed up again on a forthcoming apparel and footwear collaboration. The duo has reworked some of PUMA’s classic sneakers, including the pictured Ralph Sampson Lows below, and whipped up a selection of “sports-inspired” pieces to go along with it, infusing bright colors and DIY elements throughout.

Black and White interchangeable Foamstripped Sampson Lows are the collaboration’s marquee efforts and have been officially unveiled today. Lateral yellow-tabbed CM branding and dual branding on the tongues. The tri-color velcro overlays sit on the profile only, with leather hitting the medial. Completing the look is yellow PUMA heel branding and an all-white sole unit.

The collection, which also includes a PUMA Suede and PUMA STORM, pre-launches this week on Chinatown Market’s official website, before a global release touches down on July 11 at PUMA.com.
