He might not currently be the most viral Ball Brother, but LaMelo Ball continues to command attention on and off-the-court with his PUMA partnership.
Although the Charlotte Hornets guard is currently on his fourth signature model with the German sportswear giant, he continues to churn out new styles of some of his earlier silhouettes. The latest example arrives in the form of the MB.03 Low inspired by the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles franchise's Krang supervillain.
The brightly-colored pair joins a growing catalog between Ball's PUMA line and TMNT–one that already includes sneakers dedicated to Donatello, Raphael, Michelangelo, and Leonardo. Performance-first details reprise their typical roles, but the engineered mesh upper features a brain-like pattern nodding to the Ninja Turtles' archenemy. Commander Krang's evil yellow eyes also land across the toe, with a clearer portrait found on the top of the tongue. NITROFOAM™ cushioning and multi-directional traction underfoot also contribute to the theme, which is acknowledged via co-branding on the spine.
A firm PUMA.com launch date hasn't been revealed by the brand as of yet, but that's likely to change by summer.
