New York’s Noah has been producing sophisticated menswear since 2015, and along the way, has produced some of the finest, most under-the-rader sneaker collaborations in footwear. Most notable is the imprint’s connection with adidas, but now Brendon Babenzien will cross enemy lines, adding a trio of PUMA Clyde pairs to the list.
The new collection, which was made in Japan, has one foot in the past and one in the future. The three-pair lineup features suede uppers from Japan’s sole expert suede leather tannery, and the color dye is obtained through a meticulous process informed by ancient techniques. Noah’s respect for heritage and innovation is reflected in the emphasis on “Made in Japan” craftsmanship, as seen in its lookbooks. The Clyde’s feature co-branding, metallic gold accents, and clean white sole units that showcase the high-quality suede uppers.
The Noah x PUMA Clyde lineup will be available on noahny.com starting March 16th.
