
PUMA has spent a big chunk of the last eight months laser-focused on the Speedcat, a low-profile silhouette from 1999. Ahead of summer, however, the German sportswear institution is expanding its horizons to other gems from its archive, tapping South Korea's OPEN YY to reimagine the H-Street.
Launched in 2003, the model shares DNA with the Harambee, an iconic track spike from the turn-of-the-century. Both designs' shapes and performance-oriented elements are identical, but the PUMA H-Street opts for a breathable mesh base that allows for everyday-wear. OPEN YY's execution across three tonal makeovers keeps things simple, but elevated, employing high-quality materials and refined co-branding.

The South Korean imprint's work blends the line between performance and lifestyle, a feat that also applied to the footwear's accompanying apparel range.
The collaborative H-Street features premium nubuck overlays and a detachable fold-over tongue. "White," "Beige," and "Blue" options couple well with OPEN YY's running vests, shorts, and sleeveless top, all built with understated elegance.
