Pokémon's 30th Anniversary "Into The World" PUMA Collection Drops April 2

Pokémon is celebrating its 30th anniversary in 2026. As part of the occasion, the beloved franchise is prepping a number of special initiatives and collaborations, with the most recent arriving in the form of more product by PUMA.

Last October, the Big Cat Brand and Pocket Monsters title teamed up on an ultra-limited $300 Suede dedicated to Mewtwo. The project seemed like a one-off at the time, but it served as a precursor to what's likely an expansive capsule collection in honor of Pokémon's milestone anniversary.

Thus far, a PUMA All-Pro NITRO™ 2 inspired by Pikachu has surfaced, blending pop culture with cutting-edge performance product. A Mewtwo-branded basketball uniform also joins e-commerce shots for the yellow hoops model, confirming more gear for the sport forms part of the commemorative collection.

In addition to prepping a Pikachu-inspired hoops model, the partnership has unveiled other footwear styles and an extensive apparel collection as part of its "Into The World" capsule inspired by Sun and Moonlight Pokémon.

The PUMA Fade, Inverse, and Mostro silhouettes take after Umbreon, Espon, Mimikyu, and Pikachu, while graphic t-shirts and basketball-informed tops and bottoms also indulge in the Pocket Monsters universe through color choices and graphics.
