Each and every year in Springfield, Massachusetts, legends of the hardwood are honored with inductions into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame. This year sees a handful of worthy contributors to the game we love, including Celtics legend coach Bill Fitch, eight-time NBA All-Defensive First Team member Bobby Jones, two-time DPOY and 5-time All-Star Sidney Moncrief and more. The festivities kick off this week on September 6th, and PUMA IS celebrating the occasion with a special edition “Red Carpet” Palace Guard Mid — a sneaker worn bu their very own hall of famer, Isiah Thomas, who was inducted back in 2000.

The PUMA Palace Guard in its own right is a Hall of Fame hoop shoe, seen on court during the Pistons back to back championships in 1989 and 1990. So it’s only fitting that this Palace Guard Red Carpet pays tribute to the annual Basketball Hall of Fame event. With supple nubuck and luxe patent details in tuxedo black and a bold red carpet-inspired sole, the pair is complete with subtle metallic silver brand detail on the tongue, lateral ankle and heel.

While the ceremony is still a few days away, you can pick up the celebratory PUMA Palace Guard “Red Carpet” right now, directly from PUMA.com for $100.
