Pikachu Charges Up the PUMA Suede for Pokémon’s 30th Anniversary

PUMA is celebrating Pokémon’s 30th anniversary by giving its classic Suede silhouette an electric Pikachu-inspired makeover.

The PUMA x Pokémon Pikachu Suede arrives in the character’s signature yellow and black color scheme, with a reflective lightning-inspired Formstrip running along the side. Additional details include a removable Pikachu charm and the franchise’s “Gotta Catch ’em All!™” tagline printed across the midsole.

The commemorative release will also arrive inside an ultra-deluxe specialty box designed for Pokémon fans and collectors, for $300.

The PUMA x Pokémon Pikachu Suede will release July 25 through a one-day pop-up at 101 Union St. in Brooklyn, New York. The activation will run from noon until 8 p.m. ET.
