Allen Iverson was the blueprint player for today’s game — both on and off the court. His insane handles and competitive drive have blessed the modern age players with a new idea on how to play the game. Then there was his style off the court — something so impactful that David Stern had to employ a new uniform rule for the entire league. And there was only one place where those two converged — his signature Reebok sneakers. So it’s fitting that this new Reebok Question Low “Blueprint” honors both aspects of the Allen Iverson character, from game-changing athlete to street style legend.
Though Reebok could have taken this concept way too far they instead opted for something much more tasteful by deploying a simple soft blue suede construction complete with tonal sole units, liners, tongue, and brand-less eyestays. Bright white branding at the tongue, midfoot, and heel all arrive in white as to mimic the etchings on a blueprint, and is more literally depicted on the blueprinted graphic insoles to complete the design.
Originally set to arrive earlier this year as part of the silhouette’s 25th-anniversary celebration, the release of the Reebok Question Low “Blueprint” has now been shifted into the new year. Until then, enjoy an exclusive first look at the pair here below, and, as always, be sure to keep your eyes glued to our official Twitter account for details.
