The Reebok 4/20 Collection Releases April 1st

As the annual 4/20 celebration approaches, Reebok is taking advantage of the unique opportunity to experiment with designs that celebrate recreational drug use. The upcoming Reebok 4/20 collection is a thematic, three-silhouette set that embodies the day’s activities, all anchored in an earth-based color palette.

The Twilight Zone Pump and Classic Leather models feature a range of paisley prints and disparate textiles that pay homage to a diverse set of guilty pleasures. Suedes, nubucks, washed denim, and corduroys are combined to emphasize the patchwork theme further. The models also bear tear-away tongue tabs resembling Dutch papers and feature a grassy green textile growing from underneath, both nodding to the holiday’s spirit. The tongue’s Pump system features marijuana leaf motifs that create a psychedelic, wavy effect, taking hold of each model’s distorted Reebok branding. On the other hand, the jet-black knit composition of the Beatnik model is perfect for running errands or preparing for April 20th.

The Reebok “420 Collection” will be available on Friday, March 31st, with the Zone Pump retailing for $180, the Classic Leather for $100, and the Beatnik for $130.
