OG Reebok Answer IV “Step Over” Returns June 4th

Earlier in the month, it was revealed that Reebok will be releasing an inverted version of their OG White/Black Answer IV, which lead many to believe that we weren’t going to receive a re-release of the original. But as it appears, we’ll be receiving a reissue of the famous Reebok Answer IV “Step Over” OG in less than a month.

Mostly remembered as the sneaker worn on-foot of 2001 NBA MVP in game 1 of the NBA Finals where a ballsy Allen Iverson drummed up 48 points and a W in Los Angeles against the heavily-favored Lakers. During his unguardable run, Laker Ty Lue was given the impossible task of stopping the season MVP, who then quickly crossed him up, dropping a mid-range jumper, and leaving Lue seated on the floor. In a moment of sheer disrespect, Iverson stepped over the crossed Lue, leaving behind an iconic moment of the man and his unstoppable game 1 run — and ultimately, A.I.’s entire 2001 season.
