Despite causing a financial headache for their parent company adidas, Reebok has had a fairly solid start to 2021 — its Classics division, at least. Retro relics have been plentiful, including the return of the Kamikaze II — and today it returns in red-hot form for Autumn.
Arriving anchored in the silhouette’s staple black suede dudes, the pair’s branding hits, and tongue and heel overlays all arrive in jet black for an ominous set-up. From there, the signature zig-zagging overlays and midsole detail dons an orange-to-red gradient that mimics the flow of lava — a fitting finish to a sneaker that (at least here) resembles a firey volcano.
