In recent times, the Reebok Question has revisited some of its most sought-after exclusives as it celebrates its 25th anniversary. From the mythical suede toe OGs to the early 2000’s “Oatmeal” option, to the late Kobe Bryant’s sneaker free agency Lakers PE, the sneaker has found a way to reconnect with old heads and win over the new generation of sneakerheads that may not have seen Allen Iverson on the hardwood. Now they look to 2006 when a young Celtic Rookie named Rajon Rondo rocked the Reebok Question Low “Green Toe”, a Celtics-specific colorway made especially for the young point guard.
Like the man himself, the sneaker got more legendary and mythical over time, with both sneaker and wearer earning a cult-like status over the years to follow. For 2021, the Bok will finally bring the pair to the people, albeit with a few minor tweaks. Here, the exposed Hexalite cushioning the midsole is tinted green, as is the liner of the tongue (Rajon’s PE featured a white Hexalite and a full white tongue). Despite the subtle changes, it won’t be stopping serious collectors, Celtics fans, and Rondo aficionados from scooping up a pair next month.
At this stage, pairs are set to release on May 12th, though a recent inspection has found that product pages have been removed. For now, expect a release on that date, but should things change, be sure to keep your eyes glued to our official Twitter account for further updates. Until then, enjoy a detailed look at the pair here below.
