Reebok Question Low “Reverse Unworn” Honors Allen Iverson’s 2000 All-Star Sneakers

It appears that the Dr. J-inspired release won’t be the only All-Star-inspired Reebok Question coming in 2022, with this new Reebok Question Low “Reverse Unworn” serving as a low-cut alternate to 2000s “All-Star” Question Mid release that honored the hosting Golden State Warriors.

The story goes that Allen Iverson had locked the original pair in to be worn in the Bay Area game, only to be flamed by his East Coast teammates for breaking out such a wild pair; This was 2000 we’re talking about, where sneakers were still fairly reserved in their color blocking. Alas, A.I. never hit the hardwood in the original yellow-and-blue shoes, giving the history of the pair a quite comical origin. The pair returned in 2016as part of the silhouette’s 20th anniversary, and now it takes on both a low cut and inverted blocking for 2022 — perhaps as a nod to All-Star Weekend in Indiana, a franchise that also dons blue and yellow duds.

As you can see from the Mid-cut colorway above, the Reebok Question Low “Reverse Unworn” is a perfect inversion, with both its color blocking and material selection identical, with every instance of yellow swapped for navy and vice versa — even the Hex cushioning and outsoles are a mirror image of the Mid.
