25 years ago, life changed for Allen Iverson forever. On the 26th of this month back in 1996, the Philadelphia 76ers selected the undersized guard from Georgetown with the number one overall selection. He’d already signed a sneaker deal with Reebok prior, so they knew he was going to be something special. The rest is history. And now, 25 years after the fact, that footwear brand will be remembering his draft day with a special-edition release.

Plastered on the heel is the lottery # selection for the young A.I., the Reebok Question Mid “Draft Night” focus on a handful of callouts to the evening in question, with a grey suede, build channeling Bubba’s Draft Night suit, with black and white accents nodding his suit and tie. The Vector pink on the label is representing on the midfoot motif, while Philly colors of red, white, and blue reach back from the suede toe, to the laces and midsole, to the tongue liner. Finally, green liners nod the underside of the famed draft night snapback.

A release date for the Reebok Question Mid “Draft Night” has been earmarked for June 25th in Australia, the eve of the 25th Anniversary of the 1996 NBA Draft. PAirs are expected to arrive Stateside for the celebration, too, so be sure to keep your eyes glued to our official Twitter account for further updates.

In related news, the silhouette has just popped up in a “Megazord” colorway as part of a wider Power Rangers x Reebok pack.
