Austin Reaves and the Los Angeles Lakers are readying for the 2025-26 NBA season. The full scope of the new campaign has yet to pan out, but what's already been solidified is that the guard will tackle his next championship-seeking run in the Rigorer AR3, the third chapter of his signature sneaker series. The silhouette debuts in two styles—"Hitman" and "Apollo"—exclusive via KICKS CREW.
The model builds off the success of its predecessors, donning a similar shape to Rigorer's two initial designs for the Arkansas-native. More of an evolution than revolution, the AR3 includes performance elements that've worked well for Reaves—including a breathability and lockdown-oriented wing-inspired upper, triple-peak TPU heel, and full-length Showtime foam across the midsole. Reaves and company have also integrated an anti-twist X-shaped TPU plate and herringbone-patterned tread to ensure reliable performance on any court.
Debut styles of the third Rigorer model for AR continue the trend of bringing the Los Angeles Laker's story to footwear form. The "Hitman" pair, for example, plays with the idea that Reaves is a marksman, remaining collected, precise, and clutch when his team requires it. The shoe features a white, black, and gold color scheme.
"Every detail of the AR3 reflects my growth as a player...entering a new era where I want to keep proving myself and [inspiring] the next generation," shared Reaves in an official statement.
To celebrate the launch of the AR3, KICKS CREW will host a special giveaway for an autographed pair. Sign-ups close on Thursday, Oct. 3, at 11:59 p.m. EDT.

The AR3 by Rigorer arrives at an accessible $100 price point; when ordered with standard insoles, the sneaker retails for $115. Rigorer also offers an optional insole set for an additional $45.
