Skullcandy and Bose Team Up on the Crusher 1080 ANC

Skullcandy is taking its Crusher franchise into new territory with the launch of the Crusher 1080 ANC, the most advanced headphone in the brand’s history.

Priced at $279.99, the new model combines Skullcandy’s patented adjustable Crusher Bass technology with premium Sound by Bose technologies, marking the first time the two audio names have come together on a Crusher product.

The Crusher line has long been built around one clear idea: music should be felt, not just heard. Using a dedicated dual-driver system, Skullcandy’s sensory bass technology creates a subwoofer-like effect that lets listeners physically feel low-end frequencies. With the Crusher 1080 ANC, that experience has been updated with a new driver design aimed at improving clarity, detail, separation, and bass response.

The headline addition is the full suite of Sound by Bose technologies. The headphones feature Bose QuietControl 6-mic adaptive Acoustic Noise Cancellation, Bose TrueSpatial with head tracking, Bose WaveForm Audio Engine, and Bose SpeechClarity for calls. Together, the system is designed to deliver a more immersive listening experience while keeping the Crusher line’s signature bass-first feel intact.

Users can adjust the Crusher Bass through an onboard wheel or the Skullcandy app, ranging from subtle low-end resonance to a more intense sensory bass experience. The app also allows users to control Sound by Bose features, EQ settings, button assignments, firmware updates, and more.

Battery life is rated at up to 60 hours with ANC off and 50 hours with ANC on, while a 10-minute Rapid Charge provides up to four hours of playback. Other features include wear detection, multipoint pairing, low latency audio, Bluetooth 5.3 with LE Audio and Auracast, Google Fast Pair Suite, customizable EQ modes, and a flat-folding collapsible design with a roll-top travel bag.

The Skullcandy Crusher 1080 ANC is available now globally through Skullcandy and select retailers in Black, Candy, Primer, and Cement colorways.
