adidas to Kick Off the NMD in 2019 With Purple and Red

The NMD had a surprising year. Despite most claiming that the sneaker was dead, it had a pretty solid 2018. But will it continue it’s form in 2019? adidas are hoping so, with a few more colorways set to kick off the new year.

One of those is this “Legend Purple” edition, featuring purple soft knit uppers with subtle tonal Three Stripes and vivid red overlays. A stark-white BOOST midsole/black rubber outsole combo finishes off the design.

The adidas NMD R1 “Legend Purple” is to release on January 15th at select adidas Originals stores and adidas.com for $130.
