adidas are risking it all for James Harden

MVP to be? We’ll wait and see.

We reported earlier this year on an MVP sneaker release for James Harden. Nothing new there, with brand being prepared for big things like this. But adidas have gone all-out for James, with not onw, not two, but THREE MVP sneakers for the Houston guard.

The thing is, he’s not even a certainty to win. LeBron James put up career numbers this year, and carried his Cavs all the way to the Finals.

While it is likely Harden will win, it would be funny AF if he didnt, and adidas would be left with an abundance of MVP-branded Harden Vol. 2, Harden Vol. 2 LS and Harden B/E 2’s.

We’ll find out next Monday, June 25th, with the long-awaited NBA Awards airing on TNT.

There’s no release date set yet, but if he does win, they’ll be following not long after. If he doesnt win — well, these won’t be dropping at all.
