Let’s bring canvas back, Jack.
After yesterday’s first look at Travis Scott’s Air Jordan 33, we thought it would be fitting to unleash a La Flame-inspired concept we’ve been sitting on for a while.
I’ve been in love with canvas shoes for as long as I can remember. Ever since Travis Scott’s Canvas Air Force 1 collab back in December 2017, I’ve been hoping and wishing and praying for the material to extend to the Air Jordan Retro catalogue. But it’s yet to happen.
So, like always, I take my frustrations out in the Concept Lab. This is the result.
The colorway takes on a similar palate to both the Air Jordan 33 spotted yesterday and his upcoming Air Jordan 6. Arriving with an olive canvas upper, it’s paired with black, dark greys and hits of sail on the midsole and branding. Back tabs display dual Nike Air and Cactus Jack branding, with the alternate logo hitting the tongues.
Look, I didn’t men to tease y’all with another Travis Scott ‘what if — there’s already enough up in the air with his releases — but I thought the timing was impeccable.
