Here’s your chance to own a killer piece of Jordan memorbilia.

Before the “Flu Games” were Flu games, the “Bred” Air Jordan 12 had quite an outing in the 1997 Eastern Conference Finals. On May 24th verses the Miami Heat, his Airness went mental with 34 points and 8 rebounds in a 98-74 Game 3 victory, setting the team up for a trip back to the NBA Finals – and yet another championship ring.

And we all know the legacy that this sneaker now holds. Three weeks after Mike’s commanding game three performance in the Bred 12 – he took to the hardwood again, decked out in the now infamous colorway.

It was game 5 of the NBA Finals, and while having the flu – most people now believe it was food poisoning – Jordan somehow managed to not only play 44 minutes, he finished the game with and astonishing stat line. 38 points, 7 rebounds, 5 assists, 3 steals and 1 block which helped secure the edge going into game 6 and ultimately closing out the 1997 NBA Finals against the Jazz.

Grey Flannel Auctions is currently auctioning off the Air Jordan 12s in the size 13 opened at $2,500 USD, with an expected end date of December 20th – but you can expect them sell before then, and for a lot more than the opening price.
