It’s been a minute since we saw a mind-warping design from Jordan Brand — outside of their signature lines at least. Their newest endeavor into the market is as futuristic as it gets, borrowing themes from space-age attire and blending it with Nike’s ultra-advanced React cushioning tech. The result: Jordan Proto React.

The boot-like construction comes equipped with semi-translucent uppers, a wild heel lock down system, Nike‘s aforementioned cushioning and moon-boot traction underfoot, the Jordan Protro React is one of the most unique creations we’ve ever seen from the brand. Its debut colorway adorns a semi-reflective silver upper, with white, black, and sail mixed throughout for contrast and balance.
