Marky Mark opened up during an interview with Jordan Brand, revealing his thought process behind the design of the Air Jordan 5 Transformer PE.

One of Wahlberg’s concepts behind was to have the Air Jordan 4 actually transform into the Air Jordan 5. That sounds fkn expensive.

Instead of that, It turned out to be a regular Air Jordan 5 with no transformation capabilities.

He also explains his choice of the Jordan 5 as “. . .a perfect fit because in (his) opinion, (because) the AJ 5 has a futuristic look to it. It kinda looks like a shoe that can transform.”

And I agree. Either the 5 or 6 look to be the best fit for said PE – and as I think more about it, a 6 would have probably been much better!

What do y’all think of the finished product? Or would you have preferred a 6? Tell is in a comment below!
