October 29, 2003. The day King James first hit the NBA hardwood, fresh out of High School, with a fresh pair of kicks on foot. A teenager with his very own signature sneaker before he’d even play a game; the world at his feet. And we didn’t know what legacy he would leave.
With 25 points, nine assists, six rebounds and four steals in 42 minutes, the future King had arrived.
And this August, the first LeBron sneaker to ever appear in the NBA will get its very first retro. The only difference to the OG is the date 10-29-2003 stitched into the collar.
Also releasing in October is the OG “Black” pair worn by LeBron during his rookie season – capping off the three colorways the future champ wore that year.
