Wonder Woman inspired this very special edition Doernbecher More Uptempo

This alternate pair of DB Uptempos raised $50k

Brody Miller’s neurosurgeon, Dr. Lissa Baird is his Wonder Woman. Young Brodie is well into his comics, so it seems fitting that the woman who does such amazing work gets the title of a strong, courageous and fearless woman. Even cooler than that is this alternate version of the Doernbecher Nike Air More Uptempo that went under the hammer last night to raise much needed funds for the OHSU.

This very special pair includes Wonder Woman’s Gold lassos as the pull tabs, branded tongue labels and a star graphic inner liner as a nod to her comic book costume. It sold for over $50,000 – a huge success for the hospital in this very special annual launch event.

While this pair will remain an exclusive, the retail pair will still release on November 18th along with the entire Nike 2017 Doernbecher Collection.
