The Vans Sk8 Hi Re-issue “Deconstructed” is Back in White and Black

    Off the Wall or OFF-WHITE?

The deconstructed look is a very on-trend aesthetic right now, and the Sk8-Hi Re-issue “Deconstructed” is and exemplary sneaker for Cali’s own Vans.

It’s clear to see that they’ve taken inspiration from Virgil Abloh’s OFF-WHITE, but the concept never looked better than it does on the iconic Vans staple.

The midsole unit is busted apart, with fabric overlays riding all the way down to the outsole at the heel. It goes without saying that the two most iconic symbols for Vans, the checkerboard print and the red “Off the Wall” heel logo make an appearance, but not in a traditional sense. Both the left and right sneaker boast checks on their medial sides, with an extra small hit around the medial forefoot midsole. The heel tab has been shifted to the lateral midsole in a surprisingly tasteful way.

Looking to add a classic with a twit? (and for a steal?!) Head over to Vans.com right now to score these for $95.
