Vans Finds Their Animal Within on the Sk8-Hi Re-Issue

The very OFF-WHITE Vans Sk8-Hi Re-Issue silhouette has been met with acclaim and ridicule since it’s mid-2018 release. Its on-trend deconstruction is, well, on-trend, but it’s a clear rip of Virgil Abloh’s signature style — a style that overwhelmed the sneaker marketing from 2017 through to early 2019. So, while it remains relevant, its also seen as unoriginal.

That being said, Vans have always been one to try new things and tweak classics to remain in touch with the youth culture that props up the brand. Their latest rendition of the Sk8-Hi Re-Issue does just that, opting for a wild mix of faux animal furs on disjointed upper. With the on-trend vibes and affordable price range of the Vans range, the youth will be sure to eat these up.
