Wham, bam, P.A.M.!
Paris-based lifestyle brand Perks and Mini (P.A.M.) have teamed up with Converse to release a special edition Chuck 70 with matching apparel capsule that’s sure to knock you out!
Co-founders Misha Hollenbach and Shauna Toohey believe even the most classic of silhouettes benefit from mutations in form — as long as its physical transformation contemplates the future.
“Mutation is about evolution and the idea of what’s to come, what the future could be. It is not a rigid or singular way of thinking. It is an openness. We must adapt,” said the designers.
The collection is highlighted by the sneaker, which is engineered with PrimaLoft®, a thermal material from the ’80s, to form an upper that can be fully removed with a zipper. When unzipped, the silhouette mutates into a canvas slip-on Chuck 70 with a dual-branded tongue patch and gold side panel.
The connected apparel includes a Track Pant, Hoodie, Long, and Short-Sleeve Shirt and a reversible Quilted Bomber Jacket that’s completely crafted in PrimaLoft® with functional side pockets, graphic sleeve artwork and a heat transfer graphic on the back. Look for the Converse by P.A.M. Chuck 70 and appears collection to release on January 19th at select retailers and online at Converse.com.
