GALLERY DEPT. is reuniting with UGG for a sophomore collection this Fall.
After their initial venture in February, which saw iconic UGG models embellished with colorful jewels, this new collection takes a deeper dive into upcycling, a core passion of GALLERY DEPT.'s founder, Josué Thomas.
This latest collaboration stands out with its reimagined Cowboy Boot, which is the collection's centerpiece. Drawing on GALLERY DEPT.'s commitment to sustainable fashion, the boot is crafted from regenerative leather and adorned with distinctive embroidery, presenting a striking blend of rustic charm and modern design. Not just stylish, this boot is built to last with a durable lug outsole and waterproof leather construction, showcasing the functionality UGG is known for.
Another notable creation is the UGG GALLERY DEPT. Denim Boot: each pair is uniquely crafted from recycled denim, making every boot a one-of-a-kind piece. This approach highlights the collection's dedication to reducing waste and ensures that each boot carries its own story.
The range also includes two canvas-based designs: the UGG GALLERY DEPT. Canvas Boot and the UGG GALLERY DEPT. Canvas Tasman. Both are made from recycled canvas bags, with the Canvas Boot featuring practical elements like a handle, pocket, and clip, repurposing details from the original bags.
Enjoy a teaser look at the collection below and expect to see these released on October 18th at UGG.com
