The Reebok Pump Question Remembers Dee Brown’s Dunk Contest Kicks
Often looking outside the white lines of the NBA hardwood for inspiration, Allen Iverson’s Reebok Question — and the wider Reebok Hoops retro catalog, for that matter — has been privy to some of the most left-field collaborations in recent memory. With collections from Nerf to Jurassic Park, Reebok has brought 90s nostalgia back to the late-century silhouette. Its next does just that, though instead of looking outbound for inspiration, it looks inwards to Dee Brown’s famous Dunk Contest Pump Omni Zone II.
Taking Ivo’s base sneaker. Reebok has implemented Dee Brown’s Dunk Contest-winning colorway of black, white, and orange, alongside silhouette-specific finishes, like Pump tongues and plastic profile overlays. BRanding on the lateral wall reflected the OG Omni’s, too, while the rear Q motif has been altered to include Dee’s no-look Dunk. There’s a handful of premium finishes, too, like fine suedes, tumbled leather, and exposed foam tongues.
