Curry Fox 1 “Banzito” Celebrates De’Aaron Fox’s Favorite Sacramento Spot

As the Curry Fox 1 moves beyond its festive debut colorways, De’Aaron Fox and Curry Brand are turning their attention closer to home. Following the Kings-inspired “The Beam,” Fox now shines a spotlight on one of his Sacramento staples: Banzito’s Tacos. Known for its spot outside the Golden 1 Center, the food truck — previously operating as Benditos — has become a local favorite and a go-to for Fox, cementing a close bond between the All-Star point guard and owner Adam Saldaña.

The connection first appeared in a Curry 1 Flotro PE worn by Fox during the 2023-24 NBA season and now inspires the official Curry Fox 1 “Banzito.” Reflecting the truck’s signature branding, the colorway features a vibrant yellow, black, and light blue blend. The aquamarine hue adds a striking pop at the toe and tongue, while two-tone laces repeat the blue and yellow combination.

Closer inspection reveals additional details, including midfoot strap etchings referencing Banzito’s brand iconography. The Curry Fox 1 “Banzito” embodies Fox’s appreciation for his community, extending a heartfelt tribute to his favorite post-game meal spot.

Scheduled for release on January 10th, the Curry Fox 1 “Banzito” will release at Under Armour and Dick’s Sporting Goods, with a retail price of $120.
