Under Armour Unveils De’Aaron Fox’s Third Signature Shoe, the Fox 3
Under Armour Basketball has officially introduced the Fox 3, the third signature sneaker for De’Aaron Fox and the latest evolution of a line built around the guard’s speed and change of direction.
The new model is lighter than its predecessor at 11.9 ounces, with Under Armour focusing on the balance between quick acceleration and the ability to stop and change direction. A lightweight mesh upper provides containment without adding unnecessary weight, while a textured graphic across the shoe takes inspiration from a fox tail.
Underfoot, the Fox 3 pairs Charged cushioning with a TPU shank, while cutouts along the lateral and medial sides expose the internal foam and help reduce weight. A decoupled high-abrasion Flow outsole separates the heel and forefoot, designed to support both explosive first steps and sudden stops.
Personal details remain part of the design as well. Fox’s logo appears on the tongue, with Under Armour branding at the heel, while the outsole includes the names of his wife and children — Recee, Reign and Poppy — continuing a family theme first introduced on the Fox 2.
The Fox 3 will debut in the “Gamer” colorway, a pair Fox first wore during the 2026 NBA Playoffs. Inspired by his interest in video games, the design mixes blue, pink and neon green accents with controller-inspired shapes across the tongue.
“Every version of my signature shoe has gotten better because we keep learning from how I move and what I need on the court,” Fox said. “With the Fox 3, we refined the design, optimizing it to feel light, comfortable and responsive right away.”
The Under Armour Fox 3 “Gamer” releases September 4 for $125 through UA Brand Houses, Under Armour and select retailers. A version featuring a traditional rubber outsole is also scheduled to launch globally in 2027.
