The Vans Old Skool continues to enjoy the spotlight. Its limited, distressed makeovers have helped it become the footwear style of choice for countless fashionable folks across the globe, and a new Harris Tweed® partnership is looking to extend that trend.
Harris Tweed® is no stranger to the footwear space, having collaborated with Nike and PUMA in recent memory. The material's appearance on the 49-year-old skate shoe, however, might be considered more intentional and timely given that the high-quality textile falls in line with some of the "Off The Wall" Brand's inline offerings—namely the viral "Souvenir" Collection by OTW by Vans.
Akin to this high-fashion-inspired range and some of Vans' other popular Old Skool releases from the last year, the Harris Tweed® Old Skool sees decorative stones across the upper and a distressed, worn aesthetic throughout the sole unit.

The cozy look on the elevated Old Skool indulges in numerous shades of blue, pink, and brown. The profile Sidestripe features a number of colorful gemstones, and is done in a dark-colored fabric that might evoke images of vintage cardigans. Harris Tweed® branding arrives on the tongue and left shoe's lateral collar.
Enjoy official photos of the premium Old Skool ahead. Pairs are expected to release via Vans.com soon. It's likely a few other style done in Harris Tweed® end up launching.
