Founded in 2006, the Montreal-based JJJJound has turned a digital mood board into a fully-fledged design studio, and along the way has established itself quite the following. Over the years, we’ve seen their logo found across apparel basics, lifestyle essentials, and footwear collaborations, too. That catalog will be adding three more pairs this month through a brand new capsule with Vans.
First teased back in May, the collection is a natural progression from their trio of Old Skools from 2017, though this time they’ve chosen a rare silhouette to service. Celebrating 1978’s short-lived Vans Style 37 — widely known at the Sk8-Mid — in three ways, JJJJound deliver their signature understated approach to the sneakers, with carefully selected materials and hues. Though all three share identical premium canvas and suede construction, each sets itself apart with shades of black, brown, and olive green. They’re even aligned to release in that order, with a rollout to hit JJJJound.com on the 10th, 11th, and 12th of August respectively. There’s also a wider, global release on Vans.comcome August 14th.
