Sneakersnstuff (SNS) has unveiled its latest collaboration with the seminal skate brand Vans.
This fresh interpretation breathes new life into the Vans Knu Skool model, a silhouette that first broke ground in 1998 and marked a pivotal evolution for the Californian brand. The Knu Skool, known for its puffed-up features and padded architecture, encapsulates the quintessential '90s vibe, offering more than just a nostalgic trip down memory lane but standing as a cultural artifact of sneaker history.
This unique SNS x Vans Knu Skool collaboration is a testament to craft and style, employing premium brown hairy suede that commands attention while offering an intriguing tactile experience. The royal blue 3D sidestripe stands in vibrant contrast, ensuring the sneaker is not just felt but seen. Not forsaking functionality for aesthetics, the shoe incorporates a signature vulcanized midsole and Vans' iconic waffle rubber outsole. The design's final touch is its classic exaggerated style, an unmistakable nod to its '90s origins.
To authentically capture the essence of this collaboration, SNS engaged the talented Chris Shonting, a photographer known for his dynamic skateboarding shots. The campaign features the Stockholm-based skate crew and brand EVA Skateboards, embodying the spirit and culture that the sneaker represents.
The SNS x Vans Knu Skool is poised for an exclusive release through the SNS app on November 4th.
The sign-up period begins on October 27th and concludes on the day of release.
