Halloween is often embraced by footwear brands in many ways, most of which take the traditional routes into Jack-o-Lanterns and cobwebs. Vans, on the other hand, are taking a much more violent approach to their 2021 releases, delivering a slasher-fest of classics in what they’ve called their “Horror Collection”

Featuring a Sk8-Hi for Freddy Kreuger and The Shining’s Jack Torrence, a Slip-On for Jason Voorhees, and an Authentic for IT’s Pennywise, the names alone are enough to send shivers down your spine. The Californian brand took to Twitter to share the above video, teasing quick looks at each pair on offer for October, each of which features film and character-specific callouts, like red balloons, Jason’s hockey mask, and “REDRUM” written on the midsoles.
