OTW by Vans has been intentionally creating new energy for the rest of the company, teaming up with tastemakers while also reimagining some of the brand's archive through fashion-forward lenses. The latter effort has resulted in styles like the Old Skool 36 Pearlized, a refreshing offering rooted in heritage and the idea of customizing your footwear.
Off the heels of a sold-out project by SATOSHI NAKAMOTO, the inline product will soon launch in "Marshmallow" and "Fuchsia" color schemes. As with their predecessor, a factory distressed aesthetic is accompanied by pearl and crystal embellishments to create an eye-catching, well-loved look. All of the iconic Vans elements that first landed on the silhouette in 1977—namely the Sidestripe™—reprise their roles on the elevated makeovers.
The updated Old Skool releases in two new colorways via Vans.com/OTW on Tuesday, Nov. 18. Pricing is set at $130.
