USPS and Vans to Release Officially Licensed Collection on November 29

After making international headlines from its run-in with Nike over their not-so-subtle reference to the company through this Air Force 1 Experiment, Vans and the United States Postal Service will look to leverage the exposure, deciding to deliver their own officially licensed footwear and apparel collection for the Holiday season.

Said to be inspired by the countless delivery workers, mail sorters, and other tireless employees that play an integral part in the world of sneakers, the collection focuses on marquee silhouettes in the Authentic, Old Skool, Sk8-Hi MTE, as well as a Foot Locker-exclusive Sk8-Hi Reissue – each decorated with the nationally known colors and logos of the organization.

The Authentic gears up in a simple monochrome grey and black all-over logo print, whilst the Old Skool rocks a classic letter envelope approach with an all-white construction fixed with postage stamps on the tongue and midsole. The Sk8-Hi MTE is inspired by the official uniforms of delivery workers, whilst the Foot Locker-exclusive Sk8-Hi Reissue takes after the Priority Mail packaging.

The entire USPS x Vans footwear collection is confirmed for November 29th on Vans, Foot Locker, and select retailers, with The Sk8-Hi Reissue “Priority Mail” set to release exclusively at Foot Locker on January 20th.

In related news, END has just revealed a four-piece mastermind x Vans footwear collection.
