Previewed back in mid-2020, we thought we’d have seen the all-new winter-ready YEEZY 1050 hit shelves before the year’s end. The duck boot-like design is quite obviously a seasonal sneaker — but since those first looks, we’ve heard nothing. Could this be a case of a delay until next winter? Maybe. But with new in-hand images surfacing online today, we may be edging ever-closer to its release.
A bold hybrid of modern sneakers and traditional boots, the 1050 V boots embody a hyper futuristic vibe. The sample pictured comes in a striking hi-vis orange, with it’s netted upper highlighted with Three Stripe detail that appears as if it was scratched across the surface. The inner tongue is akin to those found on YEEZY 500 Highs, though it’s only seen in full with the full-extension of the fastening zipper. The duck boot-like overlay extends into the maximalist, almost Pyer Moss-like sole unit, which is bolstered by ultra-thick tread beneath.
With fresh new images of the YEEZY 1050 having just landed, we’re optimistic for a release soon — hopefully, before the weather gets too warm for these to wear.
