Adidas is poised to release Yeezy 350 V2 CMPCT "Slate Onyx" this month as part of their final rollout of Yeezy-branded product.
This latest incarnation employs a monochromatic color scheme, cloaked in shades of black and grey, culminating in a silhouette of simplicity and elegance. Despite the lack of color contrast, the 3D knit upper of the model offers an appealing texture that adds depth to its dark hues. Black rope laces weave through the shoe in an infinity-style loop, complementing the all-black collar and giving a sense of continuity.
To ensure that style does not override comfort, adidas has integrated a padded cushion in the forefoot area, providing superior comfort during wear. Maintaining the brand's enduring design language, the lower section of the shoe features the iconic 350 V2 midsole and outsole, fully immersed in black. This deftly camouflages the famed Boost cushioning system, known for its responsive and energizing properties.
Some retailers have listed up an August 4th release for the Yeezy 350 V2 CMPCT "Slate Onyx," though official adidas channels are yet to confirm this date.
