At the peak of the YEEZY Brand’s popularity, Kanye West and his team of designers were tweaking the brand’s most popular silhouette in every which way. The 350 went on to a V2 and a CMPCT, but the market never received a mid-top version.
That doesn’t mean they weren’t tinkering with one, as the YEEZY 650 shows.
The mid-top model was doing the rounds in 2016/17, with widespread rumors of a retail release. It never eventuated and remained one of the many sample models that never made it to shelves. They did, however, make their way into the hands of the aftermarket.
Today, we get another up-close look at the model, thanks to purveyors of early and rare pairs, @k9_isiant and @iamricosuav

With the Kanye/adidas reconciliation talks still taking place, the future of the adidas YEEZY Brand remains unknown; It is likely, though, that these will remain samples and not release to the public.
