Earthy tones have forever been part of the adidas YEEZY range, almost exclusively n fact, barring a handful of glow-in-the-dark and jet black options. But it’s only now that we’re getting a titled “Earth” pair, and it definitely lives up to its name. The YEEZY 350 v2 “Earth” was first leaked back in October last year, but first looks we’re not part of that news. Today, however, we do get a first look, and it definitely lives up to its name.
Here we see Kanye and co. experiment with the sole more so than anything else, with the upper keeping things simple in a warm brown-tan and darker tan lateral stripe. The midsole ditches the semi-translucent finish and reintroduces solid rubber for the first time since the V1 Oxford Tan dropped back in late 2015. It’s peanut butter finish comes wrapped in a dull gum to compliment the profile stripe, and the sneaker comes complete with the return of the beloved heel pull.
With pairs already in the hands of resellers, you can expect to see a retail release sooner rather than later, but we’re still waiting on official word from adidas. Until then, take a peep at the in-hand shots below, and make sure you keep your eyes glued to our Twitter feed for further updates, including better looks and confirmed release details!
