Several years removed from the initial debut of the adidas Yeezy Quantum, the silhouette still remains one of the brand's most divisive. It's also historically one of the brand's most drab, with few colorways stepping outside its safety net of colors. But finally, after seemingly years of waiting, the vibrant Yeezy Quantum "Hi-Res Orange" is poised for a retail release.
Originally surfacing in the possession of style maven A$AP Bari, this vibrantly hued iteration was once presumed to be a limited release exclusive to friends and family. Yet, its captivating combination of shades has drawn global attention from the sneaker community.
The "Hi-Res Orange," echoing the unreleased Yeezy 1050, fully embraces an audacious orange colorway, marking a notable departure for the QNTM series. Distinguished as one of the select few versions to feature a uniquely colored neoprene component, this model introduces a new standard of style. The shoe's TPU and Primeknit midfoot mesh blend shades of black and orange to produce a contrasting element within the predominantly vivid palette. Complementing the orange motif, tonal laces accentuate the upper, with the heel boasting a rubberized patch in the dominant hue. At its base, a semi-translucent orange rubber midsole and outsole encase the full-length Boost cushioning system.
